Cameron Hooper, an employee of Granite Telecommunications, LLC of Quincy, recently presented HopeHealth President and CEO, Diana Franchitto, with a check for $5,800 to support hospice care, in memory of his grandfather, Bartly F. O’Connor.
The money was raised by Granite employees who participated in a casual Friday. Employees are encouraged to nominate nonprofit organizations to benefit from the weekly collections. Granite is a provider of telecommunications solutions to businesses in the U.S. and Canada.
Cameron was touched by the exceptional care Hope Hospice provided to his grandfather and his entire family. Mr. O’Connor was a patient at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich, a hospice inpatient unit serving southeastern Massachusetts.
