Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is a global nonprofit guided by a simple principle – whales play a critical role in the health of our shared marine and global ecosystems. Their vision of a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free is not a noble gesture, but an essential means to sustain the future of our Earth by increasing the planet’s climate resiliency, and they defend these remarkable creatures against the many threats they face through campaigns, lobbying, advising governments, conservation projects, field research and rescue.
The organization is committed to sound science, education and outreach in order to change the fate of all whale species for the benefit of our shared Earth
