Part Time Business Office Manager
Description:  

Tasked with maintaining an efficient and productive office environment. Manage administrative and bookkeeping activities, and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Bookkeeping responsibilities include: AR/AP; reporting; QuickBooks Online knowledge required; use of member management application (NOVI);
  2. HR responsibilities include: managing PTO; payroll; onboarding; benefits and compliance coordination;
  3. Office management responsibilities include: supplies; utilities; landlord liaison, cleaning and IT contractor management;
  4. Administrative responsibilities include: Coordination of membership mailings (print or email), board and committee materials, and other mailings as needed; answering phone and general emails; greeting guests; sorting mail; scanning; drafting routine correspondences as directed;
  5. Lead event planner for major Association events including Winter Business Meeting and Annual Summer Meeting;
  6. Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Executive Director or his/her designee

Requirements:  

Experience and Skills Required:

  • QuickBooks Online experience required
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
  • Solid computer skills, including MS-Office Suite, and confidence utilizing internet applications
  • Knowledge of the Massachusetts cranberry industry a plus
  • Valid MA driver’s license and use of personal car will be required at times,
  • Ability to lift/move approximately 30 pounds on occasion

 

 

Job Type & Compensation:

•      Year-round, part-time position (15-20 hours/week)

•      Plymouth office-based position with flexible days/hours offered

•      Hourly rate of $27.50/hr

•      Not eligible for benefits
