With going on 35 years of industry experience, Tony is known for his insight and creative retirement planning. He really enjoys the time he spends with his clients ‘blueprinting’ their financial goals and helping them find success in designing their futures. “You can’t build a map if you don’t know your destination”.
Tony earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University, is FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 Registered, as well as Life, Health, and Accident Insurance and Real Estate Licensed.
When it comes to industry experience, Tony has held a number of lead roles with large Financial and Insurance services firms, in the Boston area. His relocation to NH, in 1999, opened doors to hone his skill set with big industry players such as Prudential IFS and Merrill Lynch. Tony has almost a decade’s worth of experience in the formation and building of Wealth Management programs at two large, highly respected, banking institutions where he specialized in work with First Responders, as well as State & Government employees, and those in the field of education. He was later recruited by TIAA to lead a team to develop complex financial plans and strategies for High-Net-Worth individuals in the Higher Education and Medical fields.
With the arrival of 2020, and the Novel Coronavirus, Tony decided to return to private practice and join his longtime friends and colleagues at Brayshaw Financial Group. This provided him the opportunity to return to the ‘community-based’ focus, that he always enjoyed, and felt was missing from his work in the corporate environment. As the newest Partner he brings a strong leadership role to the planning initiatives. Tony has recently moved back to his hometown of Plymouth, MA and launched White Horse Wealth Management, focusing on transition planning, portfolio management and complex tax & estate planning strategies. He also specializes in work with business owners.
Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Tony attended private school where he was recruited for Ice Hockey and was a Defenseman in the NEJHL. Tony also served in the US Army as a Combat Medic/LPN where he attained the rank of Sargent.
In his free time, you can find Tony at the Beach with his High School Sweetheart. He also enjoys boating, motorcycling, aviation, playing guitar and spending time with his two adult sons.
